The making of "Jellyfish Cornetti"

Gelati, Jellyfish & AI: A Remix Journey

One of my first digital collages was a rough Photoshop piece — giant gelati placed inside the elegant halls of the Petit Palais in Paris. Despite its flaws, it’s still one of my favourites.

Today, I brought it back to life using Midjourney’s new “Omni-Reference” feature, which keeps the original style while remixing the content. I added jellyfish-inspired prompts and generated three surreal versions.

Next, I upscaled the images with Topaz Gigapixel, animated them using Minimax Video-01, and enhanced the results to a 4K video with Topaz Video Upscale AI. For sound, I used zsxkip’s mmaudio — just a few dreamy touches to make it come alive.

💡 Finding: Remixing old work with new AI tools isn’t just about looks — it’s a way to rediscover your own visual language and push it into unexpected places.

To finish, I asked ChatGPT to write a short story based on one of the remixed pictures and published "Der letzte Tropfen Liebe" on my blog:
