Last autumn, I began producing moving images with the help of AI. My first project depicted an abandoned amusement park. However, what it lacked was an appropriate soundscape. For my second video, which revolved around a haunted influencer, I added an AI-generated soundtrack for the first time. I created the accompanying song using the platform Udio.
Through this process, I discovered my enthusiasm for composing digital music. When Udio suddenly discontinued the option to download generated tracks and decided to become a walled garden, I switched to its competitor, Suno. Suno still allows downloads under a paid subscription model, having apparently reached agreements with music publishers.
Since early 2026, my engagement with music creation has intensified significantly. I was impressed by the quality of the songs generated with Suno, and soon began developing full concept EPs with the assistance of ChatGPT. A specially configured custom GPT supported this workflow by producing structured outputs formatted specifically for Suno, including titles, lyrics, song texts, and style prompts.

The remaining question concerned the name under which to publish the music. Since the Suno subscription includes commercial usage rights and streaming platforms generally permit the release of AI-generated music, provided the services are not abused through excessive uploads, I chose the electronic alter ego “B3TR33.” The project is conceived as a digital experiment by an art-oriented hobbyist.
After uploading and completing DistroKid’s quality review, it typically takes up to five business days for a release to appear on Spotify or Apple Music. The distributor also enables publication on dozens of additional platforms.
At present, the project has approximately five dedicated followers on Spotify. Widespread recognition is unlikely. Nevertheless, it remains a personal creative endeavor that allows me to fulfill a long-standing ambition: to produce music without needing to sing or play an instrument. Those skills I prefer to leave to professional musicians.
